摘要: The invention relates to a method of refining glyceride oil comprising the step of degumming said glyceride oil, wherein said degumming step is followed by a separation step in which undissolved and non-centrifugable particles are removed from said degummed oil. Preferably said degumming step is followed by a step of holding the degummed oil for such a period of time and under such temperature conditions as to cause agglomeration of said undissolved particles, and for an agent promoting the formation of undissolved particles and/or promoting the agglomeration of the undissolved particles is added to the oil.

摘要: Process for refining a triglyceride oil comprising bringing the oil into contact with at least an amount of aqueous alkali solution equal to the stoichiometric amount required to neutralize the oil, forming a soapstock and separating said soapstock and oil characterized by bringing the oil into contact with the aqueous alkali solution at a temperature in the range of from 40.degree. to 140.degree. C. and forming at a temperature in the range of from 40.degree. to 140.degree. C. a soapstock which contains with respect to the initial fatty acid content of the oil at least about 0.7 wt % of electrolyte and which comprises a member selected from the group comprising a single phase of neat soap, a binary phase mixture of neat soap and niger, a binary phase mixture of neat soap and lye and a ternary phase mixture of neat soap, lye and niger. Each of the niger, lye and neat soap phases is a single phase comprising water, electrolyte and soap. The lack of substantial amounts of free water reduces saponification and thus oil loss. The presence of niger and/lye can reduce the viscosity of the soapstock and hence aid its separation from the oil.

C. wherein a solid wax is formed; andiv) removing the solid wax by microfiltration.

摘要: The present process for removing impurities from a triglyceride oil includes admixing a hydrolyzed phosphatide and water with the oil, separating the oil into an oil portion and a sludge portion and separating the sludge portion into an aqueous phase and an oil phase. The presence of the hydrolyzed phosphatides can aid the two separation steps. Recovery of oil from the sludge is thus possible.

摘要: Automatically controlled process for the neutralization of soap solutions in which an acid is mixed with the soap solution just before or as said soap solution enters a reaction zone, in which turbulent flow conditions are maintained, the relative amounts of acid and soap solution being controlled via a signal derived from the measurement of the pH of the turbulent reaction mixture, and the ratio of the total dead time to the mean residence time of the reaction mixture in the reaction zone is less than unity.This process allows a stable content of the neutralization while using a low excess of acid, hence providing savings in chemicals, labor and oil losses, and reducing effluent problems.
