摘要： A fishing lure representing a typical fish is formed from plastic or polymer. Embedded therein is provided a dynamic motion actuator utilized to attract fish by the continuous or random motion effected thereby. The device is powered by an onboard battery connected to a vibrational motor. A control circuit detects the water activation of the fishing lure and enables the motor and a lighting system for a predetermined sequence of activation and deactivation. An auxiliary control circuit senses connection of a USB to barrel connector power wire through a charging dock mounted in the frame of the fishing lure. Checking both a charging state and the number of times the device has been charged, the auxiliary control circuit enables a steady state light for signaling charging and a flashing light if the number of charges is above a certain level by using a counter.

Amongst these one powers the lure using a cellphone stick battery supply having an electric wire socket to socket connection to a USB, circular socket or similar charging mechanism. Another has a door or screwed on cover that is removable and thereby operable to permit egress and ingress of used and replacement batteries respectively. The final embodiment is self contained as it is to be rechargeable via inductive principles.

A downhole system for seismic survey of a formation penetrated by a wellbore includes at least one seismic receiver; a seismic source; and at least one inflatable packer configured to separate the seismic source and the at least one seismic receiver in different compartments in the wellbore when inflated.

摘要： A contour follower includes a plurality of sensors spaced around a waterjet nozzle, each of the sensors being configured to measure a distance between a working surface and a first plane, perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the nozzle. The sensors may include hall-effect sensors lying in the first plane and magnets lying in a second plane, parallel to the working surface. A detecting circuit processes signals from the sensors to determine an angle of the working surface, relative to the first plane, and a distance between an aperture of the nozzle and the working surface. A collision detection sensor provides a signal in the event the device approaches to within a selected distance of an obstruction in the plane of the working surface. A shield plate blocks and dampens secondary spray-back of cutting fluid occurring at low angles above the working surface.

摘要： Speech encoding in a client server system such as a laptop, personal data assistant or mobile phone communicating with an interactive voice response telephony application. A method of communication with a speech enabled remote telephony device such as a mobile phone is described comprising the following steps. Receiving user speech input into the mobile phone as part of a dialogue with an interactive voice response telephony application. Performing speech recognition to convert the speech into text and converting the text into tones such as DTMF tones. Transmitting the DTMF tones over the voice channel to an interactive voice response (IVR) telephony application an allowed response feature converts the users response to a known valid response of the IVR application. A language conversion feature allows a person in one language to speak in that language to an IVR application operating in a different language.
