    摘要: An imaging apparatus includes a printhead carrier configured for movement along an X-axis. The printhead carrier includes a carrier housing having a first bearing pocket and a second bearing pocket. The first bearing pocket and the second bearing pocket are spaced apart along the X-axis. A Z-axis passes through a central region of the carrier housing. The Z-axis is substantially perpendicular to the X-axis. A first bearing is configured to be received in the first bearing pocket. The first bearing includes a first curved outer surface having a curve that extends in a direction of the X-axis. The curved outer surface is received in the first bearing pocket to facilitate a rotation of the first bearing in relation to the Z-axis of the carrier housing. A second bearing is configured to be received in the second bearing pocket.

    摘要: The present invention provides optimized enveloping for a public key cryptography system. A sender may reuse a secret key in multiple communications to a recipient without the need to recompute or re-encrypt the secret key. The first time a message is sent to a recipient, the sender generates and encrypts a secret key, then stores the secret key, the encrypted secret key, and associated counter data in a local data store. For subsequent messages to the recipient, the sender determines from the counter data whether the secret key may be reused; if the secret key is reused, the sender updates the counter data. A recipient stores previously received secret keys in a local data store in both encrypted and decrypted form. If an encrypted secret key in a received message matches an entry in the local data store, the recipient uses the previously decrypted secret key to decrypt the message.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for identifying and resolving conflicting data records are disclosed. The individual data fields of a master record are compared with the corresponding data fields of each source record in a particular data set. For each, one of various matching algorithms is used to assign a field matching score indicating the extent to which the data in the two data fields matches. The particular algorithm used to determine the extent of a match and to assign the corresponding score is dependent on the type of the data field. Once all of the data fields for a particular source record have been analyzed, the sum of the field matching scores is tallied to determine an overall record matching score for that particular source record.
