The container is arranged to contain the web material and has an opening through which the web material can be led out of the container. A track is positioned such that web material led out of the container through the opening can be laid across the track. A cutter is capable of sliding along the track and of cutting web material laid across the track. At least in a packaged configuration for shipping, the track and cutter do not extend beyond an outline of the container.

摘要： A portable test device and related method are disclosed for conducting integrity testing of flexible containers. The test is particularly useful for testing aseptic flexible film bags in a manner that maintains the sterile nature of the container and removes crinkles by inflating the containers to remove crinkles and establish an inflation set point. The decay in pressure is measured over a predetermined period of time; if pressure loss does not exceed a predetermined threshold the integrity of the bag is confirmed and it can be filled without further manipulation of the container that may result in introducing flaws.

A double-side adhesive tape can be applied to a surface of the elongated rail base which is adapted for attaching the elongated rail base to a carton of film.

At least one cling strip, of a material that displays the phenomenon of cling with the web material, is applied to the surface of the container alongside the slot.

摘要： The present invention relates to a film cutter assembly in which a blade housing slides along a pair of rails. The blade housing is formed of an upper portion for housing the blade. Either end of the upper portion has a rounded inclined shape from a bottom edge to form a sled shaped runner. The sled shaped runner extends beyond the blade such that the user is prevented from touching the blade. A lower portion of the blade housing slidables bilaterally in a cavity formed below the rails. A clearance is formed between the blade and the rails to allow the blade housing to easily slide over a film to be cut even if the film bunched or doubled over. The upper portion of the blade housing has a concave shape for allowing a user's fingers to easily grip the blade housing. Preferably, the rails are formed of a material which provides an attractive charge to attract the film to the rail and help hold the film flat before and after cutting. For example, the rails can be formed of flexible vinyl or acetal.

摘要： A cutter assembly is provided having a rail and a blade housing. The rail includes support surface side, a mounting side and a first side. An aperture in the first side provides access to a central cavity. The blade housing includes a blade having first and second ends. The first end includes a fitting and the second end includes a handle. The fitting slidingly fits within and is retained within the central cavity. The blade is positioned substantially parallel to and moved into contact with a portion of the first side as the fitting is moved within the rail. The cutter assembly can be attached to a container housing a web material. The movement of the blade housing along the rail cutes the web material at a position directly adjacent the intersection of the support surface and the first surface.
