摘要： An apparatus for forming visible lines on a surface on a temporary basis comprises at least one laser which is directed at phosphors provided in or on the surface and means for controlling the laser to cause it to sweep the area on which the lines are to be marked. Optical deflectors are provided for guiding the laser beam. A first method of forming such lines comprises sweeping the surface incorporating the phosphors and on which the lines are to be marked with at least one laser beam. In a second method, the area is again swept by the at least one laser beam and, after the phosphors have been activated, each laser beam is deactivated and the phosphors are stimulated by flood radiation. Such phopsphorescence can then be quenched at a desired time.

摘要： A spherical enclosure for a camera, has in some examples, an optically transmitting wall, a highly-reflective external surface, a coated internal surface, a collapsible internal lining, and a support tube. The wall may have a region of varying wall thickness providing a lens. The collapsible internal liner is made of a material that obscures the camera's silhouette, and is inserted through an opening in the wall while folded, and then expands into position. The inner surface of the enclosure may be coated with a material that reduces internal reflections. The camera, when mounted in the enclosure has the optical center of the camera coincident with the geometric center of the spherical enclosure, so that distortion of the camera image is minimized.

摘要： A device for delivering an occlusive element includes an elongate sheath having a lumen therein. An elongate core member is disposed within the lumen and is formed from a proximal portion and distal portion connected via a joint. The distal portion of the elongate member includes a severable junction secured to the occlusive element. A marker coil is coaxially arranged around the distal portion of the elongate core member and is partially disposed inside the sheath lumen. A coil member is coaxially arranged around the distal portion of the elongate core member and coaxially arranged around at least a portion of the marker coil extending outside the lumen of the sheath. The coil member is secured at a distal end thereof to the distal portion of the elongate core member. The device resists axial compression while allowing for radial bending.
