摘要： Disazo pyrazolone pigments are provided which have improved properties achieved by incorporating certain azomethine compounds. The pigment is prepared by reacting a primary amine terminated alkylene oxide polymer and acetoacetanilide or substituted acetoacetanilide to form an azomethine coupler, and subsequently co-reacting the azomethine coupler and a pyrazolone coupler with tetrazotized 3,3'-dichlorobenzidine or tetrazotized o-dianisidine. The pigment is useful in printing ink, plastics and paints.

摘要： Monoazo pigments are provided which have improved properties achieved by incorporating certain azomethine compounds. 摘要： Poly (alkylene oxide) substituted acetoacetanilides of the formula: ##STR1## wherein B comprises a divalent bridging moiety selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkylene, --NHSO.sub.2 --, --O--, --CO--, --COO--, and --NCHO--; X comprises a poly (alkylene oxide) having a number average molecular weight of about 200 to 10,000; R comprises 0 to 4 moieties independently selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy and halogen; and d is an integer of 1 to 3. The poly (alkylene oxide) substituted acetoacetanilides are prepared by reacting a poly (alkylene oxide) monoamine, diamine or triamine with isatoic anhydride followed by acetoacetylation of the resultant aminobenzamide. The substituted acetoacetanilides are useful for preparing improved diarylide pigment compositions which in turn are useful for preparing storage stable printing inks (especially of the publication gravure type).

摘要： Compositions, methods, apparatuses, kits, and combinations are described for permanently or temporarily re-designing, decorating, and/or re-coloring a surface. The compositions useful in the present disclosure include a décor product that is formulated to be applied and affixed to a surface. If desired, the décor product may be substantially removed from the surface before being affixed thereto. If a user desires to remove the décor product, the décor product is formulated to be removed by a number of methods including, for example, vacuuming, wet extraction, chemical application, and the like. If the user desires to affix the décor product to the surface in a permanent or semi-permanent manner, the décor product may be affixed to the surface by applying energy thereto in the form of, for example, by a sealant composition such as, for example, a solvent. The décor product may also be utilized in the form of a kit or in conjunction with a design device, such as a stencil, to control the application of the décor product to create, for example, a pattern on the surface.
