Abstract: A flexible gastight material for a landfill site includes a component A and a component B, the component A including: at least one of polypropylene glycol with a molecular weight of 600-4000, polytetrahydrofuran diol with a molecular weight of 1000-3000, polycaprolactone diol with a molecular weight of 1000-3000, and polycarbonate diol with a molecular weight of 1000-3000; and at least one of 2,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, toluene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, and hexamethylene diisocyanate. The flexible gastight material for the landfill site provided in the present application has a micro-closed-cell foam structure. The closed-cell elastic structure of the flexible gastight material may block the volatilization of toxic and harmful odors, and may cut off the diffusion path of the odors by combining with gas treatment systems at the landfill site. The flexible gastight material has excellent water blocking and gas sealing performance.

Abstract: A kit for use in storm-proofing a structure may include a cartridge comprising an injectable rubber caulk or a malleable rubber paste, a container comprising a viscous liquid rubber composition, a roll comprising a rubberized adhesive tape, a can comprising a sprayable aerosol-based rubberized liquid, a caulking gun configured to engage and dispense contents of the cartridge, a paintbrush, a gap filler tool, a pair of gloves, a pair of safety goggles, and printed instructions. Each component may be combined into a unitary packaging assembly. The injectable rubber caulk, the malleable rubber paste, the viscous liquid rubber composition, the rubberized adhesive tape, and the sprayable aerosol-based rubberized liquid may be safely removed after application and use, or after a storm or natural event has subsided.

Cutback bitumen mixtures are described comprising bitumen; and bitumen cutback composition. The cutback bitumen mixtures may be configured as a hot mix composition; a cold mix composition; or an emulsion, the emulsion further comprising an aqueous compound. Methods of temporarily reducing a viscosity of bitumen and methods of applying bitumen to a substrate are also described.-

Abstract: Described herein are anti-skid compositions that exhibit good mechanical strength, water resistance, and minimal product transfer. In certain aspects, the anti-skid compositions can be applied to articles using an aerosol delivery system. The anti-skid compositions can be applied to any article such as, for example, a rug, floor mat, chair mat, runner, and the like. The anti-skid compositions are particularly effective in preventing sliding or skidding of area rugs on or across substrates such as, for example, hard floors.

Abstract: Provided are one-part, shelf-stable polyurethane aerosol compositions, and related articles and methods. When sprayed onto a substrate and dried, these compositions provide polyurethane films. These polyurethane films display improved moisture resistance, optical clarity, and weatherability compared to known aerosol compositions, particularly in adverse environmental conditions. The compositions generally include an aqueous polyurethane dispersion containing a urethane moiety obtained by reacting (i) a polyol or thiol having isocyanate-reactive functional groups, (ii) a neutralized water-solubilizing compound, and (iii) a diisocyanate and optionally a silane terminal group; a propellant; and optionally one or more additives.
