摘要： A cryosurgical system with a cryoprobe, with a bypass valve communicating between the cryogen supply line and the cryogen exhaust line. The bypass valve is located in the cryoprobe, close to the distal tip of the cryoprobe, and is operable to open upon cryogen flow to purge gasses in the supply pathway and then close automatically when cooled by passing flow of liquid nitrogen.
