摘要： An engine has a load detector, or more specifically a threshold load comparator, and also detectors for sensing any abnormality of various factors influencing the normal engine operation. When no abnormality is sensed, the engine is made to operate automatically at a low speed level when the engine load is below the threshold value, and at a high speed level when the load is beyond such value. When any abnormality is sensed, then the engine is emergently halted in a fail-safe manner, thus any damaging disorder in controling circuitry for effecting such emergent halting leads in itself to emergent halting of the engine as well.

摘要： In an engine generator having a work generator arranged at the upper side of an engine of a vertical crank shaft type, the output shaft of the engine projects upwards from the engine crank case so as to be connected to the rotor of the work generator. And the stator is arranged so as to encircle the rotor and to be encircled by an air induction casing. A cooling fan of a centrifugal blower type is located at the upper end of the rotor shaft with the blades thereof directed to the side of the generator so as to supply a cooling air flowing upwards to both the interior and the exterior of the stator during operation.
