摘要: A method of manufacturing a display panel includes preparing a work substrate that includes a mother substrate that has a plurality of cell areas, a light emitting element layer formed in each of the cell areas, and an encapsulation layer formed on each cell area, disposing a plurality of protective films in the cell areas, respectively, that cover the light emitting element layer and the encapsulation layer, cutting the work substrate along cutting lines at an outer side of the protective films of each cell area to form a preliminary display panel, grinding side surfaces of the preliminary display panel, and removing the protective films from each ground preliminary display panel to form the display panel.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for a display panel and a method of manufacturing the display panel. The systems and methods may provide for a substrate having a first surface and a second surface that face each other, a display unit including an organic light-emitting device arranged on the first surface of the substrate; and a thin-film encapsulation layer arranged on the display unit to shield the display unit, wherein an edge of the first surface or an edge of the second surface are inclined with respect to the first surface or the second surface. The inclined surfaces are designed to prevent damage to the display due to fine cracks during the manufacturing process as the display panel is trimmed or cut from a single base member. A display panel having improved strength characteristics may be manufactured, as well.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a display panel includes forming a unit panel which includes a display unit provided on a substrate. The substrate of the unit panel is cut out in a form of a closed loop having a straight line portion and a curve portion that are connected to each other. The cutting out of the substrate of the unit panel includes cutting the straight line portion by a first cutting process using a first tool and cutting the curve portion by a second cutting process using a second tool that is different from the first tool.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for a display panel and a method of manufacturing the display panel.
