Abstract: An electronic apparatus, in which a memory is efficiently managed, and a control method thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a processor is configured to allocate at least one of a general memory and a kernel memory to a process corresponding to a program in response to execution of the program; calculate a total capacity of the general memory and the kernel memory allocated to each of a plurality of processes; and erase a selected process, among the plurality of processes, which is determined as having a low priority based on the calculated total capacity of the general memory and the kernel memory.
