Abstract: A display device includes a content receiver receiving content having a first resolution, a display panel being drivable at a first frame rate with respect to the first resolution, a memory storing one or more instructions, and a processor configured to execute the one or more instructions stored in the memory to adjust a resolution of the content to a second resolution, adjust a size of graphics such that the graphics generated to correspond to the first resolution corresponds to the second resolution, synthesize the content having the second resolution and graphics having an adjusted size, and control the display panel to display a synthesized image at a second frame rate that is greater than the first frame rate.
