A display apparatus including display panel, a rear case to cover a rear of the display panel and the rear case including a cable fixing hole to which a cable is fixed, a connector connected to the cable and fastened to the rear case so that the cable is connected to the rear case, a cable holder to surround a part of the cable and fixed to the cable fixing hole so that the cable is fixed to the rear case, and a clamp to fix the cable holder to the cable fixing hole, wherein the clamp includes a first hook to be fixed to the cable fixing hole, and a second hook having a different shape than a shape of the first hook and to be fixed to the cable fixing hole to have a greater fixing force than a fixing force of the first hook.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are provided for displaying a screen in an electronic device. A message application is executed. An execution screen of the message application and a keyboard are displayed through a touch screen display of the electronic device while the message application is executed. A layer of the execution screen is overlaid with a layer of the keyboard. Based on a touch input on an object related to the keyboard, data related to the keyboard is transmitted to an external electronic device through a communication interface of the electronic device such that the external electronic device, based on the data related to the keyboard, displays the keyboard through a display of the second external electronic device. The execution screen is displayed through the touch screen display. The keyboard which has been displayed disappears from the touch screen display.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long-term evolution (LTE). The present disclosure relates to beam management in a wireless communication system, and an operation method of a base station may comprise the steps of: transmitting first type reference signals; receiving feedback information on the first type reference signals; transmitting information on resources for second type reference signals, which are allocated on the basis of the feedback information, to at least one terminal; and transmitting the second type reference signals through the resources, wherein the second type reference signals are transmitted using fixed transmission beams by the base station. An electronic device executing a music playing application is provided. The electronic device includes a communication module configured to receive control information from a second electronic device connected through a wireless communication when the music playing application is executed, a processor configured to process the received control information to be applied to music data requested to be reproduced according to the execution of the music playing application, and an audio module configured to output the music data processed by the processor.

Methods, apparatuses, and systems for processing multi-touch input in a multi-tasking terminal with a touch screen are described. In one method herein, an electronic apparatus displays a first application program on its touch screen while both the first application program and a second application program are being multitasked, detects a flicking of four or more fingers in the displayed first application program on the touch screen; and, in response to detecting of the flicking of four or more fingers, switches the touch screen from the display of the first application program to a display of the second application program.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for releasing a lock function set in advance by detecting a user's input in an electronic device increases the security level required to access the electronic device. A method for controlling the lock function in the electronic device includes determining pattern input information. After determining the pattern input information is valid by analysis with predetermined pattern information, the lock function is released. The pattern input information includes at least one of a pattern shape, a pattern input time, a pattern input position, and a pen pressure of a pattern. The apparatus includes a touchscreen configured for detecting gestures, use of a stylus within a pre-determined threshold, and touch. The device discerns whether input has been entered in a proper hidden region of the display, to reduce unauthorized access by someone observing the input pattern being entered.

A hearing aid function provision method and apparatus is provides a hearing-impaired person with the audio enhanced based on the hearing-impaired information shared through Social Network Service (SNS). A user device operates in an environment-adaptive hearing-aid mode. The hearing aid function method includes receiving, at the device, audio input by a device owner; enhancing the audio based on hearing impairment information of a hearing impaired person; and outputting the enhanced audio. The audio may be enhanced a number of ways that include amplification, shifting, spreading, and division that can be based on an audiogram performed by the device or such information provided to the device.

An apparatus and method implement a messenger service in an electronic device. The method operates in a server of a wireless communication system and includes detecting a search word from a message received from at least one electronic device, determining supplementary information dependent on the search word detected from the message received from the at least one electronic device, and transmitting the message and the supplementary information to at least one electronic device providing a supplementary service among the at least one electronic device.

A method for providing a context awareness service is provided. The method includes defining a control command for the context awareness service depending on a user input, triggering a playback mode and the context awareness service in response to a user selection, receiving external audio through a microphone in the playback mode, determining whether the received audio corresponds to the control command, and executing a particular action assigned to the control command when the received audio corresponds to the control command.
