The display apparatus includes a light source, a quantum dot sheet on which a reflective area that reflects light irradiated from the light source and a quantum dot area including a quantum dot that scatters the light irradiated from the light source are alternately disposed, and a display panel that displays an image using light provided from the quantum dot sheet.

    Abstract: A viewing angle adjusting member and an electronic device including the same are provided. The viewing angle adjusting member includes a first transparent film including a first transparent electrode layer, a second transparent film including a second transparent electrode layer, and a blocking material provided between the first transparent film and the second transparent film and containing nanoparticles configured to block light. The viewing angle adjusting member may be configured to adjust a position of the nanoparticles according to an electrical signal applied to at least one of the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer.

    Abstract: A display device includes a liquid crystal panel configured to display an image corresponding to image data; a backlight unit including a first light source configured to emit blue light and a second light source configured to emit yellow light; and a controller configured to determine first color coordinates and second color coordinates based on a color gamut of the image data corresponding to a local dimming area, control the backlight unit based on the first color coordinates, and control the liquid crystal panel based on the second color coordinates.
