Provided are an electronic device and method of voice command processing therefor. The electronic device may include: a housing having a surface; a display disposed in the housing and exposed through the surface; an audio input interface comprising audio input circuitry disposed in the housing; an audio output interface comprising audio output circuitry disposed in the housing; at least one wireless communication circuit disposed in the housing and configured to select one of plural communication protocols for call setup; a processor disposed in the housing and electrically connected with the display, the audio input interface, the audio output interface, the at least one wireless communication circuit, and a codec; and a memory electrically connected with the processor. The memory may store at least one codec supporting multiple modes associated with different frequency bands. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to perform operations comprising: setting up a call using the wireless communication circuit, selecting one of the multiple modes based on the selected communication protocol, selecting a speech recognition model based on the selected mode, receiving a voice command from the outside of the electronic device using the wireless communication circuit, and processing the voice command using the selected speech recognition model.

A mobile terminal for sharing a part of a web page provided. The mobile terminal comprises a communication unit configured to receive data on the web page from a network, a display unit configured to display a partial region of a web page of the received web page, and a control unit configure to obtain an address of the web page and information on the partial region and cause the communication unit to send the address and the area information to another terminal. A method for sharing a part of a web page is provided. The method comprises receiving address information on a web page and position information on a partial region of the web page, determining the partial region of the web page of the web page based on the address information and the position information, and displaying the determined partial region of the web page.

An electronic device includes: a communication circuit; a first sensor; a processor; and memory storing instructions that cause the electronic device to: determine whether a user wearing the electronic device is in a standing posture; determine that the electronic device is a main electronic device and an external electronic device connected to the electronic device is a sub electronic device, based on determining that the user is in the standing posture; obtain first information related to a fall of the user; receive, from the external electronic device through the communication circuit, second information related to the fall of the user. The second information is obtained by the external electronic device; and detect the fall of the user, by applying a first weight to the first information and by applying a second weight corresponding to the sub electronic device. The second weight is lower than the first weight.

Method and apparatus for managing an application display mode of an electronic device are disclosed. In one embodiment of the system for managing an application display mode of an electronic device, the system first detects user input of a display mode that designates a layout of a page. The system then transmits a request for the page and the display mode to the server. Upon receiving the page from the server, the system displays the page received from the server such that the page is displayed in accordance with the layout designated in the display mode.

A method for combining a plurality of images into a synthesis image and an electronic device implementing the same are provided. The image synthesis method of the present disclosure includes acquiring coordinates of an object in a source image; extracting a target image from the source image based on the coordinates such that the target image contains the object; and displaying the target image in a section of a frame mapped to the source image.

The present disclosure provides methods and electronic devices for performing wireless communication with an accessory device. In some embodiments, an electronic device includes a wireless communication circuit, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to execute instructions to receive, from at least one server through the wireless communication circuit, a first decryption key. The processor is further configured to receive, from an accessory device through the wireless communication circuit, an advertising packet. At least one portion of the advertising packet is encrypted with a first encryption key. The processor is further configured to decrypt the at least one portion of the advertising packet with the first decryption key. The processor is further configured to transmit, to the at least one server through the wireless communication circuit, information comprised in the decrypted advertising packet. The first decryption key corresponds to the first encryption key.

Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device and a screen control method for processing a user input by using the same, and according to the various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a housing; a touchscreen display located inside the housing and exposed through a first part of the housing; a microphone located inside the housing and exposed through a second part of the housing; at least one speaker located inside the housing and exposed through a third part of the housing; a wireless communication circuit located inside the housing; a processor located inside the housing and electrically connected to the touchscreen display, the microphone, the at least one speaker, and the wireless communication circuit; and a memory located inside the housing and electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores a first application program including a first user interface and a second application program including a second user interface, wherein the memory stores instructions, and when the memory is executed, cause the processor to: display the first user interface on the display, while displaying the first user interface, receive a user input through at least one of the display or the microphone, wherein the user input includes a request for performing a task using the second application program, transmit data associated with the user input to an external server via the communication circuit, receive a response from the external server via the communication circuit, wherein the response includes information on a sequence of states of the electronic device to perform the task, and after receiving the response, display the second user interface on a first region of the display, based on the sequence of the states, while displaying a portion of the first user interface on a second region of the display.
