A headset to provide noise reduction may include a first microphone that is disposed outside the headset and detects external noise, a first blocking unit configured to block the external noise entering an inside of the headset, a second blocking unit configured to block external noise which is not blocked by the first blocking unit, a second microphone configured to detect internal noise of the headset including noise which is not blocked by the first blocking unit and the second blocking unit, and a speaker configured to output canceling noise to cancel the internal noise detected by the second microphone, wherein the second blocking unit surrounds the second microphone and comprises a one-way sound transmitting passage.

A wideband slot-loading loudspeaker includes a speaker driver configured to reproduce sound; an enclosure in which the speaker driver is disposed; a reflective member spaced apart from a front surface of the speaker driver, wherein a slot is formed in a space between the speaker driver and the reflective member; an acoustic discharge port provided at one end of the slot, the acoustic discharge port configured to discharge the sound reproduced by the speaker driver; at least one opening provided in the reflective member; and a sound resistance member disposed at the at least one opening.
Abstract:
An audio apparatus is provided. The audio apparatus includes an input configured to receive an audio signal containing noise; a period estimation unit configured to estimate a period of a noise pattern in the audio signal; a noise reducer configured to subtract and remove the noise pattern from the audio signal in a frequency domain by using the estimated period of the noise pattern; a noise updater configured to update the noise pattern according to a change in amplitude of the noise; and an output configured to output the audio signal obtained by removing the noise pattern.
