A trim-bead comprises a flexible channelshaped carcass 20, externally covered with fabric 30 which is wrapped around the edges of the channel and is adhesively secured to the inner surface of the channel, sharp edged means being provided which stand proud of the exposed surface of the fabric within the channel so as to contact and bite into the member over which the bead is engaged in use. The carcass may be constructed of wire bent to form a zigzag and the sharp edged means may be constituted by barbs 25 struck out of the wire zig-zag and projecting through the fabric. Alternatively the sharp edged means may be constituted by gritty particles held by a layer of adhesive on the surface of the fabric within the channel, Fig. 5 (not shown).
