According to the present invention, can provide a solar cell system including a power generation cell and a transparent layer capable of efficiently guiding light to a side surface, wherein, inside the transparent layer, light having been incident on a surface of the transparent layer is converted into light with a long wavelength, such as near infrared radiation.
