Abstract: An organic light-emitting element according to the present invention employs a polycyclic aromatic derivative compound in a light-emitting layer inside the element, and further comprises a capping layer. Thus, the organic light-emitting element can be made highly efficient and can be useful for a device selected from among a flat panel display device, a flexible display device, a monochrome or white flat panel lighting device, and a monochrome or white flexible lighting device.

Abstract: The triarylamine compound having a specific structure in the present invention is excellent in hole injection/transport ability, stability and durability of thin film. By selecting the triarylamine compound having a specific structure as the material for the hole transport layer, holes injected from the anode side can be efficiently transported. Furthermore, various organic EL devices combining luminescent materials having a specific structure or the like exhibit good device characteristics.
