摘要: The present invention relates to a process for preparing a residual base oil from a hydrocarbon feed which is derived from a Fischer-Tropsch process, the process comprises the steps of: (a) providing a hydrocarbon feed which is derived from a Fischer-Tropsch process; (b) subjecting the hydrocarbon feed of step (a) to a hydrocracking/hydroisomerisation step to obtain an at least partially isomerised product; (c) separating at least part of the at least partially isomerised product as obtained in step (b) into one or more lower boiling fractions and a hydrowax residue fraction; (d) catalytic dewaxing of the hydrowax residue fraction of step (c) to obtain a highly isomerised product; (e) separating the highly isomerised product of step (d) into one or more light fractions and a isomerised residual fraction; (f) mixing of the isomerised residual fraction of step (e) with a diluent to obtain a diluted isomerised residual fraction; (g) cooling the diluted isomerised residual fraction of step (f) to a temperature between 0° C. and −60° C.; (i) subjecting the mixture of step (g) to a centrifuging step at a temperature between 0° C. and −60° C. to isolate the wax from the diluted isomerised residual fraction; (j) separating the diluent from the diluted isomerised residual fraction to obtain a residual base oil.

摘要: A process for preparing normal paraffin involves separating a Fischer-Tropsch product stream to obtain first gaseous and liquid hydrocarbon streams. The first gaseous hydrocarbon stream is cooled and separated to obtain a second liquid hydrocarbon stream and a third liquid hydrocarbon stream, which are separated by atmospheric distillation, to obtain a normal paraffin fraction comprising 5 to 9 carbon atoms and a normal paraffin fraction comprising 10 to 35 carbon atoms. The normal paraffin fraction comprising 10 to 35 carbon atoms is separated by atmospheric distillation to obtain a normal paraffin fraction comprising 10 to 18 carbon atoms and a normal paraffin fraction comprising 19 to 35 carbon atoms. The fraction comprising 10 to 18 carbon atoms hydrogenated (a) and separated to obtain a normal paraffin comprising 10 to 13 carbon atoms and a normal paraffin comprising 14 to 18 carbon atoms.

摘要: A process for preparing a base oil fraction having a reduced cloud point from a hydrocarbon feed which is derived from a Fischer-Tropsch process is provided. The process comprises: subjecting a hydrocarbon feed which is derived from a Fischer-Tropsch process to a catalytic dewaxing treatment to obtain an at least partially isomerised product; separating at least part of the at least partially isomerised product into one or more light hydrocarbon fractions and one or more heavy base oil fractions; separating at least one of the heavy base oil fractions by means of a first membrane into a first permeate and a first retentate; separating at least part of the first permeate by means of a second membrane into a second permeate and a second retentate; and recovering the second permeate.
