Abstract: An operating device comprises a base member, an operating member, a user operating portion, and a restriction member. The base member includes a first end portion, a second end portion, and a grip portion. The first end portion is configured to be coupled to a handlebar. The second end portion is opposite to the first end portion. The grip portion is provided between the first end portion and the second end portion. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base member about a pivot axis. The user operating portion is configured to receive a user input and provided at the second end portion of the base member. The restriction member is at least partly provided, as viewed along the pivot axis, between the user operating portion and the first end portion of the base member to restrict unintentional access to the user operating portion.

Abstract: A hydraulic operating device for a small vehicle including a bicycle is basically provided with a base member, an operating member, a piston, a handlebar fixing structure and a hydraulic reservoir tank. The base member includes a cylinder having a cylinder bore. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base member about a pivot axis. The piston is movably disposed in the cylinder bore and operatively coupled to the operating member to move the piston within the cylinder bore. The handlebar fixing structure is coupled to the base member. The handlebar fixing structure defines a handlebar arrangement area. The hydraulic reservoir tank has a hydraulic fluid chamber fluidly connected to the cylinder bore. The hydraulic reservoir tank at least partially overlaps the handlebar arrangement area as viewed in a pivot axis direction parallel to the pivot axis of the operating member.

The hydraulic reservoir tank is partially disposed on a first side of the handlebar fixing structure while the hydraulic pressure chamber is disposed on a second side of the handlebar fixing structure as view in the pivot axis direction.

Abstract: A bicycle display is provided that allows the user to recognize the selected operation mode. The bicycle display includes a display screen configured to display information corresponding to a first operation mode and a second operation mode of a bicycle component that is selectable between at least the first operation mode and the second operation mode in accordance with operation of an operation unit. The display screen includes a switching region switched between a first display state, which shows the switching region in a first color in a state where the first operation mode is selected, and a second display state, which shows the switching region in a second color in a state where the second operation mode is selected.
