Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a server apparatus, a base station, and a terminal apparatus as well as a communication system that make it possible to implement stabilized communication against a fluctuation of a communication environment in a wireless LAN by switching a base station taking an event into consideration. An application server delivers information relating to an event, which differs for each base station depending upon an installed position, to a terminal apparatus through a base station together with base station information including communication quality and functions of the base station. The terminal apparatus selects a base station with which connection should be established, on the basis of the event information and the base station information and switches the connection. The present disclosure can be applied to a communication system in a wireless LAN.

Abstract: To precisely synchronize system clocks, medium clocks, or the like of apparatuses with each other.
A wireless apparatus includes a main control unit and a wireless control unit. Information regarding a correspondence between a clock that manages a time of the main control unit and a clock that manages a time of the wireless control unit is wirelessly sent to another wireless apparatus by the wireless control unit. This information regarding the correspondence includes information regarding a difference between the two clocks, information regarding a granularity ratio of the two clocks, and the like. For example, the wireless control unit sends the information regarding the correspondence as a part of a frame for measuring the time of the wireless control unit with respect to the other wireless apparatus or a part of a frame for connecting to the other wireless apparatus.-

Abstract: To enhance a time synchronization accuracy between a plurality of wireless apparatuses in a wireless network. A time synchronization processing part performs a time synchronization processing between a self-apparatus and other apparatus configuring a wireless network together with the self-apparatus. A parent/child determination part determines whether the self-apparatus is a parent node or a child node in the wireless network. The time synchronization processing part performs the time synchronization processing as clock master for a child node under control when the self-apparatus is a parent node, and performs the time synchronization processing as a clock slave for a parent node when the self-apparatus is a child node.

Abstract: An object of this technology is for one apparatus to effectively notify the other apparatus whether or not synchronization target clocks are correctly synchronized therebetween. A wireless apparatus includes a main control section, a wireless control section, and a clock synchronization management section. The main control section manages time using a first clock (synchronization target clock). The wireless control section manages time using a second clock (reference clock). The synchronization management section manages a clock synchronization state. The wireless control section notifies another wirelessly connected wireless apparatus of information regarding the clock synchronization state through transmission of a frame.
