    Abstract: To enable copy control according to original copy control information at a data output destination by converting copy control information defined in MMT format data into copy control information defined by DTCP and transmitting the converted copy control information to a network-connected device. The copy control information defined in the MMT format data is converted into the copy control information defined by DTCP and transmitted to the network-connected device. In the case where the transmission data is any of a 4K image, an 8K image, or an HDR image, and in a case where the copy control information defined by DTCP2 and the transmission data are images are 2K images or SDR images, the copy control information defined by DTCP1 is generated and recorded in a control information storage packet or a program map table (PMT) to be transmitted to a network-connected device, and transmitted.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method and a program as well as a recording medium for enabling at least a bit rate of an image to be reproduced to be converted. A BD-J execution unit sets conversion equation information indicating a conversion equation for converting at least a bit rate of a graphics to be reproduced. A conversion unit converts at least the bit rate of the graphics to be reproduced by use of the conversion equation indicated by the conversion equation information set by the BD-J execution unit. The playing apparatus acquires encoded data of the HDR video to be preferentially played indicated by the preference information, out of encoded data of the first HDR video and encoded data of the second HDR video, and decodes the acquired encoded data. The present technology is applicable to Blu-ray disc players.

    Abstract: A configuration is implemented that converts MMT format data to MPEG-2 TSV format data for recording onto medium, thereby permitting copy control in compliance with the initial copy control information. MMT format data with copy control information set therein is input and converted to MPEG-2 TS format data for re-cording onto information recording medium. The copy control information recorded in the service description table (MH-SDT) stipulated by the MMT format is acquired and, in accordance with predetermined conversion rules, used to generate the copy control information for recording to the program map table (PMT) stipulated by the MPEG-2 TS. For example, the EPN and CCI values to be recorded to the PMT are determined in accordance with the conversion rules.
