Abstract: Various aspects of a system and method to generate a multi-dimensional video are disclosed herein. In accordance with an embodiment, the system includes an application server, which receives a plurality of videos feeds from a plurality of image-capturing devices that capture a pre-defined area. Further, sensor data is received from a plurality of sensors associated with one or more subjects in the pre-defined area. Thereafter, a location-of-occurrence of an upcoming activity-of-interest is predicted in the predefined area based on the received plurality of video feeds, sensor data, and/or pre-stored statistical data of the historical performance of the one or more subjects. One or more control instructions are communicated to one or more of the plurality of image-capturing devices to focus towards the predicted location-of-occurrence to enable the generation of the multi-dimensional video. Thereafter, one or more views of the generated multi-dimensional video are broadcasted to a plurality of subscriber-terminals.

Abstract: Various aspects of a device, such as an imaging device, and method to generate a panoramic image are disclosed herein. The imaging device comprises a micro-lens array configured to capture light-field (LF) data associated with a field-of-view (FOV) of the imaging device. One or more circuits in the imaging device focus on a first subject to determine a first frame. The first frame is based on a first realignment of the stored LF data of the first subject in the FOV. Determination of one or more other frames occurs when the one or more circuits dynamically refocus on one or more other subjects. A panoramic image is generated from a combination of the determined first frame and the determined one or more other frames. The generated panoramic image corresponds to a pseudo three-dimensional image that contributes to the depth perception of the selected one or more subjects.

Abstract: A system and method for data communication is disclosed, which includes a first electronic device configured to receive an input to enable selection of a multimedia content item on the first electronic device. The selected multimedia content item is communicated, by the first electronic device, to a second electronic device along with playback controls. Playback of the selected multimedia content item may be controlled at the first electronic device and the second electronic device based on synching of the communicated playback controls during the playback. The control is performed such that a current playback time of the selected multimedia content item is in sync at the first electronic device and the second electronic device.

Abstract: Various aspects of a system and a method for processing of a video content based on emotional state detection of one or more users are disclosed herein. The system includes a video-processing device, which detects a change in an emotional state of a first user viewing a first video content on the video-processing device. One or more groups of image frames of the first video content, viewed during the detected change in the emotional state of the first user at one or more time instances, are associated with the changed emotional state. A second video content is generated by use of the associated one or more groups of image frames of the first video content, based on the detected change in the emotional state of the first user.
