Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a multimedia playing control method and apparatus and system. The multimedia playing control method includes: obtaining first multimedia content data according to source information of multimedia content data; and transmitting the source information of multimedia content data and all or part of the first multimedia content data. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, multimedia content data that has been buffered to the local is transmitted while transmitting multimedia source information, thereby reducing amount of data needing to be buffered again and the time of waiting for the buffering.
