Abstract:
There is provided a process for producing a catalyst for olefin polymerization, which comprises the step of contacting (1) an organoaluminum compound, (2) an external electron donor compound and (3) a solid catalyst component obtained by a process comprising the steps of; (i) reducing a titanium compound represented by the following formula nullInull with an organomagnesium compound in the presence of a fine particle and an organosilicon compound having an SinullO bond to obtain a solid product, and (ii) contacting the solid product, a halogenocompound having halogenation ability and an internal electron donor compound to obtaining the solid catalyst component. 1

A metal compound obtained by a process comprising the step of contacting, in a specific ratio, a compound represented by the formula M1L1r, a compound represented by the formula R1s-1TH, and a compound represented by the formula R24-nJ(OH)n; a catalyst component for addition polymerization comprising the metal compound; a catalyst for addition polymerization using the catalyst component; and a process for producing an addition polymer using the catalyst.
