摘要: A catalyst composition, a method of preparing a polyolefin including the same, and a polyolefin prepared from the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a catalyst composition comprises a first transition metal compound represented by Chemical Formula 1, and a second transition metal compound represented by Chemical Formula 2, wherein a molar ratio of the first transition compound to the second transition metal compound ranges from 1:0.3 to 1:3.5. The catalyst composition is capable of preparing a polyolefin having excellent mechanical stability, while exhibiting excellent process stability and high polymerization activity during the preparation of a polyolefin in a slurry process.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a Ziegler-Natta catalyst composition comprising a procatalyst, a cocatalyst and a mixed external electron donor comprising a first selectivity control agent, a second selectivity control agent, and an activity limiting agent. A polymerization process incorporating the present catalyst composition produces a high-stiffness propylene-based polymer with a melt flow rate greater than about 50 g/10 min. The polymerization process occurs in a single reactor, utilizing standard hydrogen concentration with no visbreaking.

摘要: The present invention provides a process for the preparation of a multimodal polyethylene, said multimodal polyethylene preferably having a bimodal or trimodal M.W. distribution, comprising: (i) polymerizing ethylene and optionally an α-olefin comonomer in a first polymerization stage to produce a first ethylene polymer; and (ii) polymerizing ethylene and optionally an α-olefin comonomer, in the presence of said first ethylene polymer, in a second polymerization stage, wherein said first and second polymerization stages are carried out in the presence of an unsupported metallocene catalyst, which is a complex of a group 4-10 metal having at least two ligands, wherein at least one of the ligands is persubstituted and comprises a delocalized pi system of electrons, each polymerization stage produces at least 5% wt of said multimodal polyethylene, and said multimodal polyethylene has a multimodal M.W. distribution, a M.W. of at least 50,000 g/mol and a bulk density of at least 250 g/dm3.

The solution of reaction product “A” may be contacted with a second agent to form a solid reaction product “B”, and the solid reaction product “B” may be contacted with a third agent to form a solid reaction product “C”. The solid reaction product “C” may be contacted with a fourth agent to form a solid reaction product “D”, and the solid reaction product “D” may be contacted with a fifth agent to form a catalyst component.
