Abstract:
A display apparatus a display panel that includes pixels arranged in rows by columns, which are connected to gate lines and data lines, a timing controller that outputs control signals and data signals, a gate driver that applies gate signals to the pixels through the gate lines, and a data driver that receives the data signals and applies data voltages corresponding to the data signals to the pixels through the data lines. The timing controller checks whether a pattern of data values corresponds to a checker pattern, in which black and white patterns are alternately repeated in a row direction and a column direction, checks whether an area of the checker pattern is equal to or greater than a predetermined area of the display panel, and compensates for the data signals in accordance with the checked result.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a window, a display module, a pressure sensor, and a bracket. The window includes a flat area and a curved area. The display module is disposed on a lower surface of the window to overlap with the flat area and the curved area. The pressure sensor is disposed on a lower surface of the display module to overlap with the curved area. The bracket is disposed on the lower surface of the display module and coupled to at least one of the window and the display module. The pressure sensor is disposed between the window and the bracket. The lower surface of the window and the lower surface of the display module face the same direction.
Abstract:
A display apparatus includes a display panel, a timing controller, and an impact sensor. The impact sensor senses an external impact and is connected to an input terminal of the timing controller. When the impact is sensed, the display panel displays a white color during a predetermined time period. In addition, an electronic product further includes a body and a door with the display apparatus. The display apparatus is coupled to the door. Accordingly, light leakage, which can occur in a display apparatus due to external impact, may be prevented.
