Abstract: A display device includes a display panel that includes a plurality of pixels, a touch panel that includes a plurality of driving lines and a plurality of sensing lines, a display driver that drives the display panel at a first display frame rate in a normal driving mode, and that drives the display panel at a second display frame rate lower than the first display frame rate in a low power driving mode, and a touch controller that drives the touch panel with a mutual capacitance sensing method in the normal driving mode, and that drive the touch panel with a self capacitance sensing method in the low power driving mode.

The driving controller identifies a first region and a second region of an image to be displayed on the display panel based on the image signal and provides the data driving circuit with an image data signal obtained by compensating for the image signal to be provided to pixels adjacent to the second region among pixels corresponding to the first region as a compensation value.

Abstract: A display device includes: a display unit including pixels, wherein each of the pixels includes stacks connected in series and each of the stacks includes a light emitting element; a storage to store pieces of stack number information, wherein each of the pieces of the stack number information indicates the number of stacks constituting an effective light source from among the stacks for each of the pixels; a compensator to generate compensated data by compensating image data based on the pieces of the stack number information; and a data driver to generate data voltages based on the compensated data and to provide the data voltages to the display unit. The pixels are to emit light with luminances corresponding to the data voltages.

The first pixel unit may include a sensing transistor and a scan transistor. The data driver may be electrically connected to the scan transistor through the first data line. The scan driver may be electrically connected to the scan transistor through the first scan line. The scan transistor may be turned on during a first period and a second period. The sensing transistor may be turned on during a third period between the first period and the second period. The first period, the second period, and the third period are included in one frame.

Abstract: A display device includes data lines, scan lines, and pixels. Each of the pixels includes an organic light emitting diode, a first transistor (OLED), and a second transistor. The first transistor is electrically connected to an anode of the OLED. The second transistor is electrically connected to the first transistor, a scan line among the scan lines, and a data line among the data lines. The second transistors of the pixels may receive instances of a reference voltage from the data lines during a first period of a frame. The second transistors of the pixels may simultaneously receive instances of a turn-on scan signal from the scan lines during the first period of the frame. Cathodes of the OLEDs of the pixels may receive instances of a turn-off voltage for the OLEDs to turn off during the first period of the frame.
