    Abstract: Provided herein is a display device including a base layer having a non-sensing area and a sensing area configured to surround the non-sensing area, a touch sensor disposed on the sensing area of the base layer, an optical structure disposed on the base layer, and a polarization layer disposed on the touch sensor so as to overlap the sensing area. The touch sensor and the optical structure include a first through hole located in the non-sensing area, and the non-sensing area includes a first area corresponding to the first through hole and a second area configured to surround the first area. The optical structure is disposed in the second area, and includes an optical pattern including a plurality of openings.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a lower substrate; a display layer disposed on the lower substrate and including an electro-optical active layer; a touch electrode layer disposed on the display layer and including first touch electrodes arranged in columns and second touch electrodes arranged in rows intersecting the columns; connections connecting adjacent first electrodes in each of the columns, connections each including islands disposed on the second electrodes, and bridges connecting the first electrodes to the islands; and an insulating layer electrically separating the second touch electrodes and the bridges. The bridges each include a first end that is directly connected to one of the first electrodes and a second end that is indirectly connected to another one of the first electrodes.

    Abstract: A touch unit is provided including a touch electrode disposed in a sensor region. A touch driving wire is connected to the touch electrode. The touch driving wire includes a first routing line connected to a first side of the touch electrode and a second routing line branched from the first routing line and connected to a second side of the touch electrode. A pad electrode line is spaced apart from the touch driving wire. The pad electrode line is connected to a pad. A pad connection line is connected to the touch driving wire and the pad electrode line. The pad connection line is disposed in a different layer from the touch driving wire. An area in which the pad connection line is in contact with the first routing line is greater than an area in which the pad connection line is in contact with the pad electrode line.

    Abstract: A touch sensing unit includes first touch electrodes, a first touch signal line, and a second touch signal line. The first touch electrodes are disposed in a touch sensor area. The first touch signal line is electrically connected to some of the first touch electrodes arranged in a first column.     Abstract: A touch sensor for a display device includes: a base layer; a plurality of first sensing electrodes and a plurality of second sensing electrodes spaced apart from each other on the base layer; a first connector electrically connecting the first sensing electrodes adjacent to each other; a first insulating layer disposed on the first sensing electrodes and the second sensing electrodes; a conductor disposed on the first insulating layer and connected to the second sensing electrodes through the first insulating layer; and a second insulating layer disposed on the first insulating layer to cover the conductor. The first insulating layer includes a first opening exposing at least one of a portion of a first separation area between the first connector and the second sensing electrodes, a portion of the first connector, and a portion of the second sensing electrodes, and the first opening is spaced apart from the conductor.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including a base substrate having a display region and a hole region included in the display region; a touch sensor including a light blocking member disposed on the display panel, a first sensing insulating layer covering the light blocking member, a sensing electrode layer disposed on the first sensing insulating layer, and a second sensing insulating layer covering the sensing electrode layer; a polarizing layer disposed on the touch sensor; and a cover window disposed on the polarizing layer. At least one of the first sensing insulating layer and the second sensing insulating layer exposes at least a portion of the hole region.
