In a sealant dispenser and a method of sealing a display panel using the sealant dispenser, the sealant dispenser includes a tracking part, a nozzle part and a body. The tracking part tracks a tracking line on a base substrate, the base substrate is divided into a display area and a non-display area. The nozzle part is spaced apart from the tracking part, and injects a sealant from an end portion of the nozzle part and forms a seal line on the base substrate at a same time the tracking part tracks the tracking line. The tracking part and the nozzle part are mounted on the body.

There is provided a method of driving a display panel. In the method, it is determined whether a driving mode is a two-dimensional image mode or a three-dimensional image mode. A first gate driving control signal and a second gate driving control signal are generated by converting an input control signal inputted in accordance with the driving mode. A first gate signal is outputted to an odd-numbered gate line connected to a first sub-pixel within a unit pixel of the display panel based on the first gate driving control signal. A second gate signal is outputted to an even-numbered gate line connected to a second sub-pixel within the unit pixel of the display panel based on the second gate driving control signal.

The present invention discloses an alignment substrate that includes a base substrate and an alignment layer arranged on the base substrate. A plurality of unit pixels is defined in the base substrate. The alignment layer includes at least two sub-alignment portions dividing the unit pixel into at least two domains. Each sub-alignment portion is arranged in a different domain of the at least two domains and is aligned to have a different pretilt direction from the other sub-alignment portions.
