    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a bending area and a non-bending area, a display panel including a first panel area, a second panel area, and a panel bending portion that is bent such that at least a portion of the first panel area overlaps a portion of the second panel area, the display panel may have a curvature in the bending area, and a spacer between the first panel area and the second panel area, the spacer including a first portion in the bending area and a second portion in the non-bending area, wherein the first portion of the spacer is different in material from the second portion, and wherein the first portion of the spacer may have a curvature in the bending area substantially equal to a curvature of the display panel in the bending area.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a protective member, a light guide member, a light source, and a light leakage preventing member. The display device includes a display surface concavely curved in a first direction. The light leakage preventing member is coupled to the protective member to be movable according to expansion or contraction of the light guide member. The light leakage preventing member contracts and expands according to the expansion or contraction of the light guide member, and includes an elastic part to prevent the light source from being damaged by the expansion of the light guide member.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel which displays an image with light and a drive unit which is electrically connected to the display panel and drives the display panel. The drive unit includes a drive circuit board and a drive circuit film. The drive circuit board overlaps the display panel, generates a drive signal to drive the display panel and defines a receiving hole therein. The drive circuit film electrically connects the display panel to the drive circuit board and is bent from the display panel toward the drive circuit board. The drive circuit film includes a driver chip which provides a control signal in response to the drive signal from the drive circuit board.
