    Abstract: Provided is a display device including a display panel, a data driving circuit configured to drive a plurality of data lines, a scan driving circuit configured to drive a plurality of scan lines, and a driving controller configured to determine an operation mode based on an input signal, and configured to control the data driving circuit and the scan driving circuit in order to drive a first display region of the display panel at a first driving frequency and drive a second display region of the display panel at a second driving frequency while the operation mode is a multi-frequency mode, wherein the driving controller may change the operation mode to a compensation mode in which the second display region is periodically driven at the first driving frequency when the duration of the multi-frequency mode is greater than a reference time.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a data driver, a scan driver, and a light emitting driver. The display panel includes a first display area and a second display area. The display panel displays a first image on the first display area and the second display area in a first mode, and displays a second image on the first display area in a second mode. The light emitting driver activates emission control signals applied to the first display area and the second display area in the first mode.     Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a data driver, a scan driver, and a driving controller. The display panel includes a first display area and a second display area, which operate at different frequencies from each other in a multi-frequency mode. The driving controller controls the data driver and the scan driver. The driving controller generates boundary compensation data by compensating for boundary image signals, which are input to correspond to a boundary area of the first display area in the multi-frequency mode and drives the data driver based on a compensation image signal including the boundary compensation data.

The second stage is configured to provide the compensation gate signal having a pulse duration shorter than a pulse duration of the compensation gate signal provided to the display region by the first stage.
