Abstract: In a method of generating compensation data for a display device, first color, second color, and third color compensation value sets may be obtained by capturing first color, second color, and third color images displayed by the display device, respectively, white, first color, second color, and third color loading luminances may be obtained by capturing white, first color, second color, and third color loading patterns displayed by the display device, respectively, first color, second color, and third color scale factors may be calculated by dividing a luminance decrease ratio of the white loading luminance by luminance decrease ratios of the first color, second color, and third color loading luminances, respectively, and the first color, second color, and third color compensation value sets and the first color, second color, and third color scale factors may be stored in the display device.

Abstract: A display module includes: a display panel including a display area for displaying an image; a lens unit disposed on the display area; an image generator for receiving visual sensing data from the outside by sensing an eye of a user, identifying a reference area on the display area, based on parameter data and the visual sensing data, and generating a converted image by adjusting grayscales of a target area adjacent to the reference area in an input image; and a controller for controlling the display panel, based on the converted image. Abstract: An apparatus for testing a display panel and a driving method thereof. The apparatus includes: a driver for providing a test signal to a display panel; an image sensor for acquiring image data by photographing the display panel on which an image corresponding to the test signal is displayed; a luminance calculator for calculating luminance distribution data, based on the image data; and a compensation data generator for determining a compensation value with respect to pixels of the display panel, based on the luminance distribution data. The driver provides a test signal corresponding to a first gray scale level to a first region including a central portion of the display panel, and provides a test signal corresponding to a second gray scale level different from the first gray scale level to a second region.
