    Abstract: An electronic device includes a display panel in which a display area and a non-display area are defined. The display panel includes a base layer in which a first non-folding area, a second non-folding area, and a folding area are defined, a plurality of pixels disposed on the base layer and disposed in the display area, a first protrusion disposed on the base layer and disposed in the non-display area, and a second protrusion that is disposed on the base layer and disposed in the non-display area and that surrounds the first protrusion. A first gap between the first and second protrusions that overlap the first non-folding area is greater than a second gap between the first and second protrusions that overlap the folding area.

    Abstract: A display substrate includes a base substrate, a gate electrode, a semiconductor layer, a source electrode, a drain electrode, a first black organic layer, a data line and a pixel electrode. The gate electrode is disposed on the base substrate. The semiconductor layer is disposed on the gate electrode. The source electrode is disposed on the semiconductor layer. The drain electrode is disposed on the semiconductor layer and is spaced apart from the source electrode. The first black organic layer is disposed on the source electrode and the drain electrode. The data line is disposed on the first black organic layer, and is electrically connected to the source electrode through a contact hole formed through the first black organic layer. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the drain electrode. Thus, display quality of a display apparatus including the display substrate may be improved.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a display device including a display panel including a first non-folding region, a folding region, and a second non-folding region sequentially disposed in a first direction, a support plate disposed below the display panel and including openings that overlap the folding region in a plan view, and an impact resistance enhancement layer disposed below the display panel. The support plate has a groove that overlaps the folding region in a plan view. The impact resistance enhancement layer is disposed in the groove of the support plate and has a modulus in a range of about 3 GPa to about 6 GPa.
