The disclosure provides a cleaning agent composition for a flat panel display device, including: polyaminocarboxylic acid; alkali base; a nonionic surfactant; and a fluoride component. The cleaning agent composition for the flat panel display device can effectively remove metal oxides and organic contaminants on the substrate without impairing a transparent conductive layer.

A liquid crystal display includes a first base substrate, a second base substrate, an electrode part, and a liquid crystal layer. The second base substrate is disposed opposite to the first base substrate. The electrode part is disposed on at least one of the first base substrate and the second base substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first base substrate and the second base substrate. The liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal composition includes at least one kind of liquid crystal compounds including a cyclopentadienyl group.

An apparatus for manufacturing a display device includes: a stage on which a substrate to be processed is supported, the substrate to be processed including a first alignment layer of the display device; an optical system facing the substrate to be processed which is supported on the stage, the optical system including a light source which irradiates ultraviolet rays to the substrate to be processed; and a mask which is interposed between the light source and the substrate to be processed which includes the first alignment layer of the display device. The mask defines: a transmitting portion thereof through which the ultraviolet rays irradiated from the light source are transmitted to the first alignment layer of the substrate to be processed, and a blocking portion thereof which blocks transmission of the ultraviolet rays irradiated from the light source to the substrate to be processed.
