Abstract: A liquid crystal display is presented that includes: an auxiliary electrode protruding from a gate line; a third gate electrode protruding from the gate line; a first source electrode and a second source electrode connected to a data line and overlapping the first gate electrode and the second gate electrode, respectively; a first drain electrode overlapping the first gate electrode and the auxiliary electrode; a second drain electrode overlapping the second gate electrode; a third source electrode overlapping the third gate electrode; a third drain electrode overlapping the third gate electrode and connected to a storage electrode line; first and second subpixel electrodes connected to the first and second drain electrodes, respectively, wherein a connection between the first drain electrode and the first subpixel electrode and a connection between the second drain electrode and the second subpixel electrode are adjacent to each other.
