Abstract: An electronic device includes: a display unit which displays an image; a fingerprint sensing unit that senses a fingerprint including a ridge and a valley and outputs a fingerprint sensing signal including a fingerprint image, a readout circuit which generates a fingerprint processing signal based on the fingerprint sensing signal and determines whether the fingerprint processing signal matches a stored fingerprint signal, by comparing the fingerprint processing signal with the stored fingerprint signal, and a memory connected to the readout circuit. The readout circuit includes an area division unit, an estimation unit, a first sharpening processing unit, a second sharpening processing unit, and a processing unit.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes an image processor of a display device. The image processing includes a pre-processor, a segmentation processor, and a correction processor. The pre-processor performs spatial filtering on an input image signal and output a line image signal. The segmentation processor classifies a class of the line image signal and outputting a segmentation signal representing the class. The correction processor corrects the segmentation signal based on the line image signal. Additionally, the correction processor detects a class boundary of the segmentation signal, detects an edge within an edge region of the line image signal corresponding to the class boundary, and corrects the segmentation signal based on the detected edge.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display module, an optical sensing module, a protective film, and a control module. The display module includes a display area, through which an image is displayed, and a peripheral area defined adjacent to the display area. The optical sensing module is disposed under the display module and receives an optical signal via the display module. The protective film is disposed on the display module. The control module includes a blur-measuring unit which compares a first image obtained using the optical sensing module before the protective film is attached to the display module with a second image obtained using the optical sensing module after the protective film is attached to the display module to calculate blur information included in the second image.
