    Abstract: A system and method are provided in which an input including a measurement output of digital channel information is received. The digital channel information includes an estimated digital channel, a beamforming codebook, and quantized angle of arrival (AoA) values. A basis corresponding to one of the quantized AoA values is selected according to a largest projection power of the measurement output. A partial channel is recovered based on the beamforming codebook and the estimated digital channel. An analog channel is recovered based on the partial channel and the basis.

    Abstract: A method of pre-compensating for transmitter in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) mismatch (IQMM) may include sending a signal through an up-converter of a transmit path to provide an up-converted signal, determining the up-converted signal, determining one or more IQMM parameters for the transmit path based on the determined up-converted signal, and determining one or more pre-compensation parameters for the transmit path based on the one or more IQMM parameters for the transmit path. In some embodiments, the up-converted signal may be determined through a receive feedback path. In some embodiments, the up-converted signal may be determined through an envelope detector.

    Abstract: A method and system for training a neural network are herein provided. According to one embodiment, a method includes generating a first labelled dataset corresponding to a first modulation scheme and a second labelled dataset corresponding to a second modulation scheme, determining a first gradient of a cost function between a first neural network layer and a second neural network layer based on back-propagation using the first labelled dataset and the second labelled dataset, and determining a second gradient of the cost function between the second neural network layer and a first set of nodes of a third neural network layer based on back- propagation using the first labelled dataset. The first set of nodes of the third neural network layer correspond to a first plurality of detector classes associated with the first modulation scheme.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided in which a processor of a receiving apparatus regenerates time domain samples of an interfering data numerology from frequency domain received signals. The processor performs pre-fast Fourier transform (FFT) processing of a desired data numerology on the regenerated time domain samples of the interfering data numerology. The processor performs FFT, with a size corresponding to the desired data numerology, on the regenerated time domain samples after performing pre-FFT processing to generate an interfering numerology cancelation signal. The processor subtracts the interfering numerology cancelation signal from a frequency domain received signal of the desired data numerology to reduce an effect of interference of the interfering data numerology on the desired data numerology.
