The one or more processors are further configured to execute the one or more instructions to identify a frame refresh rate of a variable refresh rate (VRR) video signal, acquire a compressed video stream corresponding to the VRR video signal by inserting information of the frame refresh rate into at least one of a tail area or a header area of a video stream, and transmit, to an external device through the wireless network, the compressed video stream.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a communication interface connected with a wireless network, a memory storing at least one instruction, and at least one processor that is connected with the communication interface and the memory and controls the electronic device. The at least one processor is configured to, by executing the at least one instruction, transmit a content to an external device in real time through the communication interface, and based on receiving transmission delay information from the external device, identify skip levels for each of a plurality of frames included in the content based on the received transmission delay information and characteristics of the content, encode the content based on the identified skip levels for each of the plurality of frames, and transmit the skip level information for each of the plurality of frames and the encoded content to the external device through the communication interface.

    Abstract: An electronic apparatus may include: an input/output interface configured to receive digital image content that is not compressed; a communication device configured to transmit and receive data wirelessly; at least one memory storing instructions; and at least one processor configured to obtain packet data corresponding to the digital image content and control the communication device to transmit the packet data. The at least one processor may be further configured to execute the instructions to: separate video information, audio information, and meta information in the digital image content; perform encoding in preset units of blocks using the video information in preset units of lines among the video information to obtain encoded video information; packetize each of the encoded video information, the audio information, and the meta information to obtain the packet data; and control the communication device to wireless transmit the packet data to a display device.
