    Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: a temperature sensor; a wireless communication circuit; and a processor electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit, wherein the processor is configured to: receive a temperature sensed by the temperature sensor; determine a first maximum transmission power as a maximum transmission power of uplink transmission data to be transmitted through the wireless communication circuit, identify a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index and a number of resource blocks (RBs), when the received temperature is higher than a predetermined value, based on the identified the MCS index and the number of RBs, determine a second maximum transmission power, and change the first maximum transmission power to the second maximum transmission power, wherein the second maximum transmission power is lower than the first maximum transmission power.

    Abstract: An electronic device and a method of operating the same are provided. The electronic device includes a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of at least a part of the electronic device, a display, a communication circuit supporting first cellular communication and/or second cellular communication, an application processor, and a communication processor, wherein the application processor is configured to identify whether a deactivated state of the display is maintained for a designated time or longer while being connected via the first cellular communication, in response to the deactivated state maintained for the designated time or longer, identify whether each of the temperature measured by the temperature sensor and a throughput of data transmission via the first cellular communication satisfies a designated condition, and in response to the temperature and the throughput each satisfying the designated condition, control the communication processor to perform one or more operations for performing releasing of the first cellular communication.

    Abstract: According to an embodiment, an electronic device may include at least one communication processor comprising at least one central processing unit (CPU). According to an embodiment, the at least one communication processor may be configured to enter an RRC_Connected state. According to an embodiment, the at least one communication processor may be configured to control a clock level for the at least one CPU to be a first CPU clock level corresponding to the RRC_Connected state. According to an embodiment, the at least one communication processor may be configured provide the workload information as an input to an artificial intelligence (AI) model, wherein the AI model is trained using training data comprising at least one of CPU utilization information and bus traffic information as input values and CPU clock levels as output values. According to an embodiment, the at least one communication processor may be configured to identify, based on the providing the workload information as the input to the AI model, a second CPU clock level as an output of the AI model. Various other embodiments may be possible.
