Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer program product are provided to detect error conditions and otherwise monitor the status of request data object and network response assets and related systems to allow for the efficient movement of network resources and other resources in high-volume network environments. In some example implementations, otherwise unrelated request data objects and their related parameters, along with otherwise unrelated network response asset systems are depicted on a single interface such that pairings between request data objects and network response assets, and other status information can be readily viewed. Some example implementations contemplate the use of location data in connection with error detection and remediation. Some example implementations also contemplate the establishment and use of a communication channel between an interface system and a system associated with a request data object and/or a network response asset upon the detection of an error condition.

Abstract: Described herein is an adaptable communication system for a vessel comprising: a network of gates, each gate comprising at least one wireless interface coupled to a wireless transmission line for wireless communication with another gate of the network and at least one wired interface coupled to a wired transmission line for wired communication with another gate of the network; wherein the gates are each configured to: while the system is in operation, repeatedly update a current gate status based on at least one current property of the wired and wireless transmission lines or at least one current property of the wired and wireless interfaces; receive a data package; select a transmission line based on the current gate status; and send the data package onwards towards a destination via the selected transmission line. Also described herein is a gate for an adaptable communication system and a method for communication in an adaptable system.

Abstract: A network system that implements quality of service (QoS) by rate limiting at a logical network entity is provided. The logical network entity includes multiple transport nodes for transporting network traffic in and out of the logical network entity. The system monitors traffic loads of the multiple transport nodes of the logical network entity. The system allocates a local CR and a local BS to each of the multiple transport nodes. The allocated local CR and the local BS are determined based on the CR and BS parameters of the logical network entity and based on the monitored traffic loads. Each transport node of the logical network entity in turn controls an amount of data being processed by the transport node based on a token bucket value that is computed based on the local CR and the local BS of the transport node.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing error detection in a network, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing error and/or fault detection in a network and/or media stream and providing options to address the error and/or fault in the network and/or media stream. In various embodiments, a computer might detect an error in a first network and send a notification indicating that the error has occurred. The notification might contain one or more options to address the error in the first network. The computer, a user device, a service provider device, or a content provider device might receive and display the notification containing the one or more options. The computer, the user device, the service provider device, or the content provider device might then select at least one of the one or more options to address the error in the first network.

Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to systems and methods for improving multicast traffic flows in a computer network. In some aspects, a method of the technology includes steps for receiving multicast traffic statistics from each of a plurality of switches in a computer network, aggregating the multicast traffic statistics into a time-series database, and identifying a low-performing multicast flow based on the time-series database. In some aspects, the method can include steps for automatically reconfiguring the computer network to improve the low-performing multicast flow. Systems and machine readable media are also provided.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a device configured to allocate memory resources for packets received by the network interface based on received configuration settings. In some examples, the device is a network interface. Received configuration settings can include one or more of: latency, memory bandwidth, timing of when the content is expected to be accessed, or encryption parameters. In some examples, memory resources include one or more of: a cache, a volatile memory device, a storage device, or persistent memory. In some examples, based on a configuration settings not being available, the network interface is to perform one or more of: dropping a received packet, store the received packet in a buffer that does not meet the configuration settings, or indicate an error. In some examples, configuration settings are conditional where the settings are applied if one or more conditions is met.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for dynamically controlling requestor device queues by monitoring and utilizing the throughput rate of matched provider devices and requestor devices. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems determine throughput rate of matched provider devices and requestor devices in real-time and/or predicts throughput rate utilizing historical features of a particular location. The disclosed systems can generate and provide queue request notifications to requestor devices based on a throughput rate at the location. Specifically, the disclosed systems can monitor a current queue status over time, compare the queue status to a queue threshold, and dynamically generate queue request notifications that reflects throughput-based queue modifiers as the current queue status approaches the queue threshold.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for identifying bogon addresses. A system can obtain an indication of address spaces in a network. The indication can be based on route advertisements transmitted by routers associated with the network. The system can receive a report generated by a capturing agent deployed on a host. The report can identify a flow captured by the capturing agent at the host. The system can identify a network address associated with the flow and, based on the indication of address spaces, the system can determine whether the network address is within the address spaces in the network. When the network address is not within the address spaces in the network, the system can determine that the network address is a bogon address. When the network address is within the address spaces in the network, the system can determine that the network address is not a bogon address.
