Abstract: A storage device providing a function of securely discarding data and an operating method of the storage device are provided. The storage device includes a safety pin device removably mounted on the storage device, the safety pin device configured to store first encrypted information and second encrypted information, the first encrypted information encrypted using a first key associated with a first user, and the second encrypted information encrypted using a second key associated with a second user, security circuitry configured to, receive the first encrypted information from the safety pin device, decrypt the first encrypted information, and generate a data encryption key based on results of the decrypting the first encrypted information, and a nonvolatile memory configured to store data encrypted with the data encryption key.

Abstract: A method for treating wastewater containing fluorine is disclosed. The method for treating wastewater includes applying a vacuum to a membrane unit including a membrane having a hollow, injecting wastewater into the membrane unit so that the wastewater contacts an outer surface of the membrane, recovering hydrofluoric acid gas by evaporating hydrofluoric acid (HF) in the wastewater based on a vacuum applied to the inner surface of the membrane and moving the evaporated hydrofluoric acid (HF) to the inner surface through the membrane, injecting sweep gas into the membrane unit to discharge hydrofluoric acid gas remaining on the inner surface of the membrane, and forming a metal fluoride by reacting the recovered hydrofluoric acid gas with a metal oxide or metal hydroxide using a scrubbing process.

Abstract: Air purification apparatuses and methods are provided. An air purification apparatus includes an air purification chamber and a supply chamber coupled to the air purification chamber. The air purification chamber includes a purification reactor, a first electron accelerator that irradiates a first electron beam to the purification reactor, and a second electron accelerator that irradiates a second electron beam to the purification reactor. The supply chamber includes a power supply that supplies power to each of the first electron accelerator and the second electron accelerator. The second electron accelerator is opposite to the first electron accelerator across the purification reactor.
