Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for selecting a channel in a wireless communication system. A method of operating a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes transmitting information regarding a second channel and information regarding a third channel to a peer terminal in a first channel. The method also includes transmitting a first request signal for connection with the peer terminal in the second channel. The method further includes if a response signal for the first request signal is not received in the second channel, transmitting a second request signal for connection with the peer terminal in the third channel. The first channel belongs to a first band, and the second channel belongs to a second band. The present disclosure also includes other exemplary embodiments different from the aforementioned exemplary embodiment.
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to analyze a network topology in a wireless communication system. A method for operating a node performing wireless communication comprises the steps of: decoding a packet in order to acquire information on peripheral links, for transmitting the packet, from the packet that does not use the node as a source or a destination; and transmitting, to a control node for performing scheduling, a message including the information on the peripheral links. In addition, the present invention includes the above-mentioned embodiment and the other embodiments.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for searching a target cell for handover in a wireless communication system. The method includes determining a priority of at least one neighboring base station based on the reliability of a direction of a beam allocated to a mobile station, and transmitting a message informing the mobile station of the priority.
