Abstract: A display device is provided. The display device includes a display configured to display content on a screen and a processor configured to determine a region of the screen corresponding to an interest of a user in the content displayed on the screen, and display a masking element over a portion of the content displayed on the screen based on the region of the screen determined to correspond to the interest of the user. The masking element is displayed at a luminance level equal to or less than a luminance level associated with the content displayed on the screen.
