Abstract: A method of a server for controlling, a device of one region among a plurality of regions is provided. The method includes acquiring situation information of a first region among the plurality of regions, determining a state of a user in the first region based on the acquired situation information of the first region, determining a device set-up value of a second region adjacent to the first region among the plurality of regions based on the determined state of the user in the first region, and transmitting the determined device set-up value of the second region to a device of the second region or a gateway connected to the device of the second region.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a sensor network, Machine Type Communication (MTC), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, and technology for Internet of Things (IoT).
