Abstract:
A display employing a signal transmission scheme using an optical interconnection together with an electrical interconnection is provided. The display includes a screen including a plurality of sub displays configured to display information, a plurality of sub signal processors electrically connected to the plurality of sub displays, the sub signal processors being configured to perform conversion between an optical signal and an electrical signal, and a main signal processor optically connected to at least a portion of the plurality of sub signal processors.
Abstract:
A display apparatus for visual and audio multiplexed display may include a directive display unit configured to display a plurality of pieces of visual information toward a corresponding plurality of locations, wherein each of the plurality of pieces of visual information is output toward a specific location of the plurality of locations. The display apparatus may also include a directive speaker unit configured to transmit a plurality of pieces of audio information toward the plurality of locations, wherein each of the plurality of pieces of audio information is output toward a specific location of the plurality of locations, and a central control unit configured to control the directive display unit and the directive speaker unit.
Abstract:
A display apparatus comprising a display configured to display a plurality of spaces in a form of a polyhedron is provided. The plurality of spaces each correspond to a different category. The apparatus displays a rotatable Graphical User Interface (GUI), a user interface is configured to receive a user interaction for the GUI, and a controller is configured to, when one of the plurality of spaces in a form of a polyhedron is selected as the GUI is rotated according to the user interaction, control to display a selected space as a main space, and display at least one content-related information included in a category corresponding to the selected space.
Abstract:
A display apparatus includes a display configured to display a GUI screen including a plurality of regions, a user interface configured to receive a user interaction with respect to the GUI screen, and a controller configured to control the display to display a region corresponding to the user interaction among the plurality of regions as a main region by rotating the GUI screen, and configured to perform a control operation mapped to the main region, wherein the main region is a region that occupies the GUI screen at a predetermined ratio or more.
Abstract:
A display apparatus and a UI providing method are disclosed. The display apparatus includes a display configured to display a plurality of screens on a first area of a display screen and a plurality of objects categorized into a plurality of groups on a second area of the display screen, a user interface configured to detect a user interaction, and a controller configured to control the display to reproduce a content which corresponds to the selected object according to the predetermined user interaction on one of the plurality of screens in response to a predetermined user interaction being detected through a user interface while one object is selected among the plurality of objects.
Abstract:
A control device for remotely controlling an electronic apparatus includes a communication part configured to communicate with the electronic apparatus; a position sensor configured to sense a position of the control device; and a controller configured to determine a first input interface on a first plate surface or a second input interface on a second plate surface that is directed toward a first direction and determine a first end part or a second end part that is directed toward a second direction according to position sensing by the position sensor, provide the first or the second input interface that is determined to be directed toward the first direction in a display direction determined based on the first or the second end part that is directed toward the second direction, and disable the first or the second input interface which is determined to be not directed toward the first direction.
