Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device incudes a communication module which establishes a communication connection with at least one external electronic device, a display module, and a processor operatively connected to the communication module and the display module. The processor is configured to transmit a first image to the at least one external electronic device by using the communication module, output the first image to the display module, select a first area, which is at least a partial area of the output first image, generate a second image including a contour of the first area and at least one line dividing the first area into a plurality of second areas, transmit the second image to the at least one external electronic device, and output the second image to the display module.
