Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments includes: at least one communication processor configured to support a plurality of network communications, a shared antenna configured to transmit at least one communication signal corresponding to the plurality of network communications, an antenna tuning circuit configured to adjust resonance characteristics of the shared antenna, and a memory configured to store a plurality of antenna configurations applied to the antenna tuning circuit, wherein the at least one communication processor is configured to: identify a plurality of target power values corresponding to the plurality of network communication, respectively, identify a first antenna configuration of the antenna tuning circuit to minimize the power consumption among the plurality of antenna configurations stored in the memory based on the at least one communication signal being transmitted through the shared antenna, based on the plurality of target power values, and apply the first antenna configuration to the antenna tuning circuit.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic device and control method for changing an antenna setting according to a bandwidth of a signal. An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present document may comprise at least one antenna, an antenna tuning circuit, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: receive signals from a plurality of external devices according to a first antenna setting by using the at least one antenna, respectively; check received power intensities of the received signals, respectively; when the checked received power intensities are equal to or greater than a predesignated threshold intensity, identify a ratio of a signal having a maximum bandwidth from among the signals received from the plurality of external devices; and at least partially on the basis of the identified ratio, change the first antenna setting to a second antenna setting by using the antenna tuning circuit.
