Abstract: An electronic device includes a camera, a display, and a processor. The processor displays a user interface including menu items supporting entry into an edit mode for a body part of an emoji displayed on the display. The processor captures a user face image using the camera, upon a user requesting facial expression edit mode from the interface. The processor generates a facial expression motion file from the user face image. The processor captures a user body image using the camera upon the user requesting body motion edit mode. The processor generates a body motion file from the user body image. The processor adjusts sync for combining the generated facial expression motion file and body motion file. The processor generates a customized emoji sticker on which user facial expression and body movement are reflected by combining the sync-adjusted facial expression motion file and body motion file.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises a. communication module, a memory, and a processor functionally connected with the communication module and the memory, wherein the processor may be configured to: receive a request for revision information corresponding to a first image from an external electronic device via the communication module; generate, on the basis of image recognition, first revision information by using a raw image corresponding to the first image; determine, on the basis of a comparison between the first image and the first revision information, whether a feature of the first revision information satisfies a predetermined condition or not; transmit, when the feature of the first revision information does not satisfy the predetermined condition, the first revision information to the external device to enable the external electronic device to generate a second image, that is, the revised first image by using the first revision information; generate, when the feature of the first revision information satisfies the predetermined condition, second revision information having a feature which is at least partially different from the first revision information, by using the first image and the first revision information; and transmit the second revision information to the external device to allow the external electronic device to generate a third image, that is, the revised first image by using the second revision information. Other embodiments are possible.

The first device receives a search image from a second device, determines a parent category and a child category of the search item, identifies a first database from among the databases matching the determined parent category of the search item, when the child category is determined, identifies a subset of the stored items corresponding the first database that match the search image based on at least one feature of the received search image and the determined child category of the received search image, and transmits information on the identified subset of the stored items to the external electronic device. The second device transmits the image of a first item to the first device, and receives a transmission indicating one or more second items matching the transmitted image for display.
